Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical, proactive analyst to apply advanced analytics across DSM topics for government and utility clients. You’ll work with client teams to design studies, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable insights that guide policy and program design.

You will collaborate with experts worldwide, contribute to research, evaluation, and planning efforts, and help deliver data-driven solutions with strong communication, dashboards, and reports.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field with 3–5 years experience or BA/BS with 5–7 years experience.
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations with R-Shiny, Flask, DASH, Power BI, or Streamlit.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, sampling, research design, regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with energy sector/utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting tasks for client engagements.
• Apply statistical methods to assess program impacts and provide actionable recommendations.
• Communicate methods, findings, sources, and results clearly in reports, presentations, dashboards, and visuals.
• Support project management, budgeting, invoicing, planning, and resource coordination while ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Build client relationships through proactive, clear communication on project status and findings.
• Identify business development opportunities and assist in proposal development.
