Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related field with 6-8 years of experience or BA/BS with 8-10 years of experience.
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations with R-Shiny or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Experience with inferential statistics, sampling, research design, and regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with energy sector/utility industry.
• Applied research design experience in a consulting setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling, and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply statistical methods, interpret results, and provide policy impact insights and recommendations.
• Communicate methods and results in reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations for diverse audiences.
• Manage consulting projects with client collaboration, budgeting, planning, and resource management.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to expand work.
• Support proposal development and business development activities.
