Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway Energy seeks a contract manager to lead long-term renewable and non-renewable energy agreements, oversee milestones, and ensure compliance, invoicing, and settlements across a statewide generation fleet. You will coordinate with Legal, finance, and counterparty, and guide integration of battery tech in PPA contracts.

The role requires strong contract management, project oversight, and analytical skills, with a background in energy procurement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 7 years of related work experience without a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-commercial long-term renewable power purchase agreements, tracking milestones and leading supplier meetings.
• Oversee renewable and non-renewable energy agreements, including payments, amendments, and terminations.
• Develop and maintain processes, systems, and invoicing for contract performance and settlements.
• Coordinate energy contract solutions, including battery technology integration in PPA agreements.
• Forecast power production for long-term agreements and coordinate with counterparty verification.
• Monitor and manage specialized energy supply agreements for large customers and energy credits settlements.
• Support Energy Master Trading Agreements setup and participate in RFP processes.
