Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an EPC Contracts Manager to lead contract negotiations and oversee commercial reviews across our renewable energy portfolio, including solar, wind, storage, and transmission projects.

Based in the USA, the role focuses on timely execution of EPC contracts, coordinating with legal, engineering, procurement, and project teams, and maintaining templates and library for consistent terms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in contract negotiation and contract management, preferably in utility-scale renewable energy.
• Extensive experience negotiating, reviewing, and editing EPC agreements for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks with deadlines in a fast-paced environment; willing to work extended hours when needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to advise colleagues on commercial risks and issues.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with project or contract management software such as Procore, Malbek.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with legal, engineering, procurement, construction, commercial, risk, tax, and accounting teams during negotiations.
• Draft and negotiate commercial terms and conditions within EPC contracts.
• Prepare compiled execution versions of EPC and related contracts.
• Provide contract support to project teams through construction and handover phases.
• Maintain contract templates, exhibits, and library for consistency across portfolios.
