Job summary

Veregy is seeking a full-time Manager based remotely in Illinois to lead field operations for energy construction projects. The Superintendent will plan, direct, and coordinate activities with estimators, purchasing, human resources, and safety to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of related experience at superintendent level, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Management of trade related construction experience required.
• At least three (3) years of related experience at the superintendent level or above.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development of procedures to increase effectiveness on overall division and estimated job profits.
• Manages department leaders, general foremen, and assigned trade personnel.
• Ensures customer satisfaction, quality, and proactive improvement.
• Participates in weekly meetings to inform management of issues and progress.
• Works with human resources and safety as needed on personnel and training issues.
• Works with marketing and estimators to ensure the team's uniformity of project delivery throughout the organization.
• Coordinates with purchasing to maintain material levels and ensures orders are placed when necessary.
• Reviews projects, controlling job cost and ensuring job profitability.
• Ensures general foremen are reviewing submittals for accuracy.
• Oversees the department's turnover process for projects sold from the estimating department.
• Works with estimating to fit the established sales goals.
• Provides continued development of customer relationships.
• Ensures all company policies are enforced, followed, and any discrepancies reported.
