Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks a seasoned professional to guide Energy Supply E&C capital management infrastructure. You will lead policy development, project management processes, and training programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive standardization and efficiency across the fleet.

You will supervise a team of consultants, evaluate training effectiveness, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Travel across regions is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical, business, education or related field or 10+ years of combined experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, process review, re-engineering and analytics.
• Understanding of power generation, construction/plant operation or equivalent.
• Formal PM methodology design and management training recommended; contract development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory, evaluation of training effectiveness and tracking methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities with measurable results.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office and IT systems/technical development experience recommended.
• Must be able to travel to manage responsibilities across the fleet.
• Region-to-region travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of Energy Supply project management method, processes, policies and guidelines.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across Energy Supply.
• Oversee the annual training program for Engineering & Construction and manage budgets/resources.
• Design and deploy training curricula and evaluation strategies for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with LMS teams to implement computer-based training.
• Act as a recognized leader in training policies and technology within the organization.
• Participate in capital project teams as needed.
