Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a strategic leader to guide the Energy Supply E&C capital management infrastructure. You will develop and implement project management policies, SOPs and training programs fleet-wide, aligning processes with Xcel Energy standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with FERC/NERC while supporting SOx processes and policy audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, business administration, education or related field or a combination of education and experience of 10+ years.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization in development and implementation of the Energy Supply approved project management methodology, processes, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Drive the strategy for business process standardization within Energy Supply including identifying process improvements.
• Manage the development and implementation of the annual Energy Supply Engineering & Construction project training program throughout the fleet.
• Manage the design, refinement, and deployment of training and identify evaluation strategies to ensure continuous improvement of courses.
• Research trends in technology for training and recommend how to leverage these trends to achieve KPI's and project specific performance metrics.
• As an individual researcher and consultant, is a recognized leader and authority in the organization in the intensely specialized field of training policies, processes and technical writing.
