Job summary

Veregy is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead the identification and development of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs) for Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects. The role requires innovative engineering, clear scopes, and strong communication to keep projects on schedule.

You will collaborate with Operations, review energy usage, perform benchmarking, develop schedules, and assist with final turnover, vendor bids, and M&V plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering required or equivalent.
• 7+ years in energy-related fields with ECM/FIM development experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure; Certified Energy Manager credentials preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs).
• Create detailed scopes of work, specs, and preliminary implementation schedules.
• Lead project development to maintain schedule, budget, and energy savings targets.
• Coordinate with Operations, vendors, and third-party consultants; participate in meetings.
• Develop energy savings calculations and M&V plans; validate savings guarantees.
