Job summary

Veregy seeks a Project Engineer III in The Woodlands, TX to identify and develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs) for Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects. The role requires an innovative, solutions-oriented engineer and strong communication to define scopes, energy savings, and M&V plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering with 10+ years in energy-related fields, plus proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
• 10+ years in energy-related field and energy conservation project experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project development progress with the team.
• Analyze facility energy consumption and budgets and set performance targets.
• Conduct facility walk-through to identify scope items.
• Develop scopes of work, specifications, and implementation schedules.
• Solicit bids and manage subcontractors through the project lifecycle.
• Validate energy savings and M&V plan for guarantees.
• Assist with final contract preparation and turnover.
• Support project manager during construction.
