Job summary

Weaver’s Energy Compliance Services (ECS) team is seeking an Associate Chemical Engineer to support regulatory compliance for renewable fuel projects. You will learn process technologies, develop mass and energy balances, and assist with engineering reviews under supervision.

Travel to client sites will be up to 10% and collaboration with senior engineers is expected. The ideal candidate has a Chemical Engineering degree from an ABET/EAC-accredited program, a 3.3+ GPA, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• GPA 3.3 or higher.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to work in a team and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mass and energy balance calculations for client projects.
• Draft engineering review reports under supervision.
• Participate in on-site inspections at client facilities.
• Support multiple project types under guidance of senior engineers.
