Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Associate Chemical Engineer for its Energy Compliance Services (ECS) team in Denver. You will develop understanding of process technologies and regulations related to renewable fuel projects, assisting with regulatory compliance and client deliverables.

The role involves on-site client inspections, mass and energy balance calculations, drafting engineering reviews, and supporting multiple projects under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited university.
• GPA 3.3 or higher.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fluid working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and document technical aspects of client renewable fuel projects related to regulatory compliance.
• Join senior colleagues for on-site inspections at client facilities.
• Prepare mass and energy balance calculations.
• Draft engineering review reports.
• Contribute to multiple project types under guidance of experienced engineers.
