Job summary

Weaver is seeking a Senior Associate Chemical Engineer to lead regulatory compliance engagements and supervise engineering reviews for renewable fuel facilities. You will conduct on-site inspections, perform mass and energy balance calculations, and deliver client-ready reports from our San Diego office.

The role requires 2+ years in chemical engineering, an EIT license, and strong writing/presentation skills, with up to 15% travel to clients across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 2+ years in chemical engineering with project management/consulting/regulatory compliance.
• Currently holds EIT license.
• Experience with mass and energy balance calculations.
• Experience interpreting BFDs and PFDs.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Strong independent thinking and decision-making.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance and consulting engagements related to regulatory compliance.
• Supervise engineering reviews and on-site inspections of renewable fuel facilities.
• Perform mass and energy balance calculations for projects.
• Prepare client-ready deliverables and provide status updates.
