Job summary

The Commercial Underwriter II at Busey Bank in Tulsa, OK provides accurate, timely credit underwriting to support portfolio management and energy loans. You will analyze cash flow, debt, and collateral to support Energy Team decisions.

Responsibilities include preparing CCAR memos, monitoring covenants, and collaborating with Relationship Managers to assess risk, with opportunity to contribute to portfolio reviews and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required.
• 5+ years of Commercial Credit experience.
• 2+ years in Commercial Underwriter role.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial statement spreading and analysis, including DSCR/FCCR calculations.
• Assess cash flow, liquidity, profitability, and leverage to manage credit risk.
• Prepare CCAR memos with loan risk details for approval.
• Evaluate collateral and industry data for each loan file.
• Support portfolio management tasks and monitor covenants.
• Assist Relationship Managers with opportunity memos and calls.
• Maintain knowledge of loan policy and systems (nCino).
• Participate in pipeline meetings and assist with special projects.
