Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Manager of Maintenance to optimize the availability of electrical and mechanical equipment through an effective maintenance program, ensuring safe, cost-efficient operations at the Energy Center.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with extensive maintenance and supervisory experience, plus strong leadership and safety focus. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 5+ years maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of applicable maintenance experience; 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Power plant maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience leading bargaining unit direct reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general direction and coordination with Operations and Technical Support for maintenance activities.
• Lead subordinate supervisors, coach, and develop staff; manage performance.
• Ensure a safe working environment and participate in safety committees.
• Maintain relations with Local 148 and manage contract leverage.
• Advocate corporate initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead special projects to improve performance and reduce waste.
