Job summary

Leidos Energy Cash Management Director leads a ~40-person team handling high-volume invoicing across utility engineering services and T&M/Fixed Fee projects. You will drive automation, set KPIs, and partner with senior leaders to improve cash generation and liquidity.

This role requires strong leadership, change management, and a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in transactional finance environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with cash management focus.
• Experience managing high volumes of invoices in a production/shared-services environment.
• Proven ability to drive automation/AI adoption in invoicing or finance operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and change-management skills.
• Leadership with talent development and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and report on a KPI-driven framework for a high-volume invoicing operation (throughput, cycle time, aging, errors, DTI, DSO).
• Define and execute AI/automation strategies to transform invoicing from generation to collections.
• Lead a transactional, volume-based business servicing T&M and Fixed Fee projects with accuracy at scale.
• Create integration plans and manage tasks arising from process enhancements or organizational change.
• Drive transformational opportunities within Cash Management and support enterprise planning.
