Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Manager, Invoice-to-Cash Operations to lead the finance function responsible for billing, collections, cash application, and related data processes. This role oversees day-to-day operations across AR aging, customer data, and performance metrics to drive capital efficiency.

The position includes leading managers and senior contributors, partnering with business lines, and guiding ERP and technology initiatives to improve controls, accuracy, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, Invoice-to-Cash, Accounting Operations or relevant Finance Operations.
• 3+ years leading large transactional teams through supervisors, managers, and team leads.
• Experience managing large-scale Invoice-to-Cash operations in multi-entity organizations with AR portfolios exceeding $200M.
• Experience using operational reporting and data to drive performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own Invoice-to-Cash operations including billing, collections, cash application, and customer data processes.
• Establish KPIs, service levels, and operating rhythms to drive working capital performance.
• Lead issue resolution impacting cash flow, customer experience, and performance.
• Ensure scalability to support growth and complex operations with clear ownership.
• Lead ERP implementations, system enhancements, and payment-related initiatives.
• Manage third-party partners supporting payment processing and billing services.
• Provide leadership for controls, compliance, and continuous improvement.
