The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Engineering Services Department seeks an Engineer-2 to lead commissioning and energy management on capital building projects. You will develop commissioning scopes, select 3rd party agents, negotiate contracts, and oversee field work across complex mechanical and control systems in research facilities.

Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; licensure may be required for some positions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex mechanical systems.
- Experience with reading complex mechanical, electrical plans and specs.

- Develop commissioning scope of work for capital projects.
- Qualify and select 3rd party commissioning agents and negotiate contracts.
- Oversee commissioning work, review plans and equipment submittals.
- Coordinate with project team, Facilities and end users; train staff.
- Provide commissioning and retro-commissioning for smaller projects; test BAS.
