McKinstry seeks a Technology Solutions Engineer for its Energy Southeast division in Tampa, FL. You will support building automation systems, optimize data throughput, and help improve energy efficiency across diverse facilities including healthcare and education.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent work experience in the built environment.
• 5-7+ years of BAS/controls experience, especially programming, integration, and energy management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.
• Strong controls project management and people skills.
• Knowledge of building efficiency and basic design principles and standards.
• Familiarity with IT troubleshooting in support of BAS networks.

Responsibilities

• As a TSE, you will support and advise owners in maximizing the value and flexibility of their existing building automation systems to support occupant comfort and energy efficiency.
• Leverage your knowledge of BAS networks to ensure that remodeled systems are optimized to maximize data throughput.
• Ensure stable architectures to support the demanding needs of healthcare, critical facilities, higher education and K-12.
