Job summary

McKinstry, based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Technology Solutions Engineer to join the Southeast Facility Operations team. You will provide troubleshooting support for BAS performance issues and oversee BAS contractors and client technicians to optimize system data throughput in healthcare, higher education, and other facilities.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background or equivalent, 5–7+ years of BAS/controls experience, and strong IT and project-management skills.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of BAS/controls experience, including programming and integration.
Experience with energy management and building controls.
Familiarity with building efficiency principles and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting support for BAS performance issues.
Oversee BAS contractors and client technicians on BAS-related work.
Leverage knowledge of BAS networks to optimize remodeled systems for data throughput.
Ensure stable architectures to support healthcare, higher education and other facilities.
