Job summary

McKinstry seeks a Technology Solutions Engineer to join the Southeast Facility Operations team in Tampa, FL. You will troubleshoot BAS performance issues and oversee BAS contractors and client technicians to ensure optimized, data-driven systems across healthcare, higher education and critical facilities.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, 5–7+ years BAS/controls experience, strong IT and project management skills, and familiarity with Metasys or Niagara.

Qualifications

• BAS/controls background with programming, integration and energy management.
• Experience supporting healthcare, education or critical facilities is a plus.
• Strong IT troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple client work orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting support for BAS performance issues.
• Oversee BAS contractors and client technicians for BAS-related workflow.
• Leverage knowledge of BAS networks to optimize remodeled systems.
• Ensure architectures support data throughput for demanding facilities.
