Job summary

Franklin Energy in Sammamish, WA is seeking an Energy Auditor II to provide on-site energy assessments for small business tenants and building owners. You will identify energy-saving opportunities, install efficiency devices, and guide clients through rebates and program participation.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 1 year in energy auditing, and knowledge of building systems. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience demonstrating above-average performance as an Energy Auditor I or equivalent experience
• Residential building construction
• Heating and Air Conditioning System install, sales or service
• BPI Fundamentals or above is a requirement
• Two years of previous related work experience
• 1 - 2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, or a related field - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency program through scheduled energy assessments
• Work with building owners and property managers to participate in energy efficiency programs
• Deliver professional, high quality services to utility customers
• Complete walk through energy assessments of properties identifying energy saving opportunities
• Install energy saving devices including lighting and programmable thermostats
• Explain energy assessment findings and rebates to clients
