Job summary

C&C Group in Wichita is seeking an Energy Services Audit Team Specialist to perform high-quality audits of HVAC control systems, energy systems, and related building technologies, ensuring performance and energy efficiency across projects.

This on-site role involves on-site audits, data capture with tablets, coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, and traveling up to 50% across Kansas and nearby locations, with opportunities to lead and shape the audit process as the practice

Qualifications

• Associates degree in HVAC/controls/engineering technology or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and building controls preferred but learnable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Ability to read utility bills, drawings, blueprints and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in on-site energy audits as part of a collaborative audit team.
• Ensure audit accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Drive audit timelines and coordinate internal scheduling with customers.
• Maintain organized audit documentation across platforms for internal and client review.
• Capture notes, photos, and field data using an iPad and other digital tools.
• Maintain clear audit documentation and customer communications throughout projects.
• Represent C&C Group professionally at customer sites; interface with facility managers and building owners.
• Travel to customer sites across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri; up to 50% field time; typical trips 2–3 days with overnight stays.
• Grow into a lead audit team role and improve audit processes as the energy practice expands.
