Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a Commissioning & Energy Engineer to join a team delivering Cx services for federal and commercial facilities across the United States. You will assist with BAS programming, monitor building systems, and collect data to support ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits, with opportunity for growth within a nationwide practice.

The role covers HVAC, electrical, life safety, and building envelope systems, working with senior engineers and project teams to ensure quality

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a focus on HVAC.
• Experience with building energy analysis and ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits is a plus.
• Willingness to support nationwide projects across federal and commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming Building Automation Systems (BAS) under guidance of senior engineers.
• Support commissioning activities for new construction, retro-commissioning, recommissioning and monitoring-based commissioning.
• Collect and analyze building system data to support energy audits and performance reporting.
