Job summary

CMC Energy Services is seeking a Field Technician II to perform installations, service, inspections and energy audits to establish baselines and recommend saving practices. You will educate customers, install measures and ensure proper safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include detailed audits, identifying energy-saving opportunities, performing diagnostics, maintaining inventory, and safeguarding customer property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree a plus; relevant industry certifications as required.
• 1-3 years' construction or industry experience preferred; energy industry experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change; flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license required, travel to client locations may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits, assessments, and work orders daily as scheduled per contracts and specifications.
• Identify conservation measures and savings potential; recommend energy-efficient technologies.
• Provide customers with education sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures.
• Perform diagnostic testing, install program measures and conduct minor repairs per program specifications.
• Manage inventory materials and company equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and ensure customer property is left in good condition.
• Communicate issues to supervisor for prompt resolution; comply with OSHA and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
