Job summary

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. seeks an Energy Assistance Support Specialist to help applicants navigate the energy assistance process and determine eligibility. You will collect income verifications and enter data into the statewide system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

You will prioritize crisis-driven applications for emergency assistance and coordinate outreach while collaborating with program vendors to administer services effectively.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus two years of related experience.
• Background in social services preferred.
• On-the-job specialized training completed in a year or less.
• Strong commitment to BI-CAP's values of collaboration, innovation and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist applicants with the energy assistance program application process and determine eligibility.
• Review applications and enter information into the statewide database.
• Prioritize applications to provide emergency assistance in crises.
• Provide outreach and work with vendors to administer the program.
