Job summary

Meta's Infrastructure organization seeks a Manager to lead energy analytics strategy for its global data center portfolio. You will direct a geographically distributed team of analysts, build forecasting models, and inform capacity planning, budgeting, procurement, and rate design across data centers.

The role prioritizes developing leaders, standardizing analytics, and partnering with Finance and Infrastructure leadership to quantify energy price and volume risk, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of direct people management experience
• Hands-on experience analyzing energy usage data and tariffs
• Experience owning forecasting or analytical models used in budgeting/capacity/investment decisions
• Experience building or scaling an analytical capability
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets
• Strong communication and data visualization skills
• Experience mentoring analytics professionals and developing team members
• Experience connecting cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations
• Experience prioritizing competing stakeholder demands and communicating trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of energy analysts across data center analytics, projects, cost and rate analysis, and forecasting
• Develop ICs and emerging leads
• Establish career paths and succession depth for the team
• Set standards for methodology, model documentation, and QA of outputs used in financial decisions
• Own development of models to forecast energy usage, generation, and cost
• Support development of new rate structures for data center locations
• Quantify exposure to energy price and volume volatility across markets
• Build data pipelines and standardized tooling to scale the portfolio
• Consolidate energy data from utilities, markets, and internal sources
• Communicate findings and trade-offs to Finance and leadership
• Travel up to 30% as needed
