Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking an Energy Analyst in California to develop and implement energy efficiency and renewable projects. The role involves site walks, coordination with Project Managers, and reviewing project progress to ensure timely deliverables.

Responsibilities include energy analysis, site audits, and assisting with rebates, interconnect applications, and permits. Proficiency in Energy Tool Base and Helioscope is advantageous for preliminary design work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with energy efficiency or renewable projects.
• Minimum 1 year with utilities or solar interconnection processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Clearly communicates technical detail as it pertains to their area of expertise.
• Knowledge on managing utility rebates, incentives, and interconnect applications for various scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of Integrated Services projects, including energy efficiency, renewables, micro-grid, battery storage, and electrification.
• Perform energy analysis and review analyses conducted by others.
• Conduct site audits to identify equipment and energy opportunities.
• Utilize modeling software to perform preliminary design and analysis of energy measures.
• Assist PM during construction with submittals, change orders, RFIs, and approvals.
