The role supports development through construction and commercial operations on large utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; other disciplines considered with relevant utility-scale renewable energy experience.
• Approximately 4–12 years of engineering experience supporting utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, or renewable energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting projects from greenfield development (or mergers and acquisitions) through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale solar photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage technologies.
• Experience leading technical due diligence activities for renewable energy development projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support throughout the full project lifecycle, from greenfield development through commercial operation.
• Lead technical due diligence for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects.
• Develop engineering specifications, one-line diagrams, technical exhibits, and supporting documentation for EPC contracts.
• Coordinate engineering activities during project execution, including technical reviews, issue resolution, and design optimization.
• Evaluate engineering alternatives that improve project performance, constructability, reliability, and financial outcomes.
• Support EPC contractor selection by reviewing technical proposals and participating in contract development.
• Assist with the specification, evaluation, and procurement of major electrical equipment, including high-voltage systems.
• Coordinate equipment integration between owner-furnished and EPC-provided systems.
• Provide engineering support for utility interconnection activities, including coordination with utilities and ISOs.
• Assist with interconnection agreements, utility studies, and transmission-related technical requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical standards.
