Job summary

Elevate Renewables F7, LLC is seeking a Performance Engineering Analyst to optimize the operational and financial performance of our BESS and BESS+Solar portfolio. You will translate SCADA, DAS and EMS data into actionable insights, quantify losses, and collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering, and suppliers to improve availability, energy production, reliability and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analytics, computer science, physics, renewable energy, or a related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience analyzing time-series or operational data; identify data gaps, outliers, sensor issues, and timestamp inconsistencies.
• Advanced Excel skills; working proficiency in Python or SQL.
• Knowledge of solar PV or BESS operations, SCADA/DAS data, and core performance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance using SCADA, DAS, BMS, EMS, telemetry, and analytics platforms; review asset health, alarms, availability, and operating trends.
• Compare actual performance with budgets, forecasts, weather-adjusted expectations, engineering models, and contractual requirements.
• Calculate and interpret KPIs including performance ratio, availability, capacity factor, degradation, and forecast-to-actual production.
• Investigate underperformance, quantify lost energy and revenue exposure, and propose corrective actions across stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc performance reports with variance commentary and management-ready summaries.
• Support onboarding of projects by validating monitoring configurations and equipment hierarchies.
