Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a senior Air Quality Practice Lead to guide and grow our national air quality engineering, modeling, permitting, and environmental consulting capabilities in energy, industrial, and mining sectors.

The role emphasizes practice leadership, client development, and technical excellence, with a flexible remote/hybrid work arrangement and travel as required. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams and mentor professionals to deliver high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in air quality engineering and permitting, ideally within energy.
• PSD/NSR permitting and Title V applications; regulatory strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand Air Quality Practice, including strategy, client engagement, and operations.
• Oversee air quality advisory and permitting projects (PSD/NSR, Title V).
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of air quality professionals.
