Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a fully remote Principal Practice Leader - Air Quality to drive air quality and climate initiatives across North America. The role supports management of a diverse team of practitioners and emphasizes business development, technical leadership, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred locations are San Diego, CA, and Seattle, WA. The candidate will lead complex projects, manage client relationships, and guide dispersion modeling, permitting strategies, and NEPA/FERC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology or a related field (required).
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional registration (i.e., P.E. or P.G.) required.

Responsibilities

• Business development, project management and technical lead for air quality projects.
• Maintain high visibility through client contact and industry involvement.
• Lead regulatory analyses related to Clean Air Act and local regulations.
• Provide consulting for air permitting and air quality impact assessments.
• Assist in planning facilities and supporting large projects in the U.S.
• Manage projects and staff with technical leadership and risk oversight.
• Collaborate across North America and mentor staff.
