Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Principal Practice Leader - Air Quality to lead our North American Air Quality and Climate Practice from a remote location. The role oversees a diverse team, drives business development, and delivers technical leadership on emissions quantification, regulatory analyses, and permitting strategies.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in energy infrastructure permitting and environmental consulting, professional licensure, and a proven track record managing

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in energy infrastructure siting, permitting and licensing.
• Experience managing permitting, planning, compliance and environmental oversight of energy projects.
• Delivery of projects including planning, controls, budgeting and contracts.
• Experience with FERC certification, NEPA and state/local Appalachian permitting.
• FERC environmental regulations and pipeline capital project development.
• Experience with Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, USACE 404 and Section 106 reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead air quality projects including emissions quantification and climate programs.
• Maintain high visibility through client contact and industry events.
• Provide regulatory analyses under Clean Air Act and evolving regulations.
• Deliver air permitting counsel and dispersion modeling studies.
• Develop and plan new facilities; mentor staff and manage risk.
• Recruiting and training staff; uphold company culture and values.
