Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to join our national Air Quality practice. This full-time, exempt role offers hybrid and/or remote eligibility anywhere in the U.S.

You will lead air permitting, planning, and modeling projects, manage budgets and schedules, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships across power, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in engineering or environmental science with at least seven years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, environmental, or mechanical) or BS in environmental science or atmospheric science with relevant experience.
• Seven years of consulting experience in air quality permitting, dispersion modeling, emission inventories, or related areas.
• Experience managing budgets, invoices, schedules, and quality assurance/quality control for projects.
• Strong project management and client management skills, with knowledge of applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for air quality permitting, planning and modeling services across the country.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, client relations, and QA/QC.
• Provide technical resources for air permit applications, emissions estimating, and regulatory analyses.
• Collaborate with SWCA teams to deliver air quality projects and grow services.
