Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-based energy efficiency adviser to install energy-saving products and coordinate program delivery for homeowners, landlords, building owners and utility customers. You will advise on modifications to electric/gas systems and promote program benefits, combining field work with office tasks.

The role requires strong communication and data-entry skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Technical school degree may be considered
• 1–2 years in electric/natural gas utility fields or related areas
• Energy efficiency experience preferred
• Customer service, sales, or marketing background helpful

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers
• Make outbound calls to meet energy-saving targets
• Develop and deliver presentations to raise program awareness
• Assist customers through rebate applications
• Enter data into spreadsheets/databases to track savings
