Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is hiring for Energetics Technician I on the 3rd shift to support energetic production, assembly, and testing of energetic materials and propulsion components in Penrose, CO and Pueblo, CO.

This hands-on role requires following strict safety and quality procedures under supervision. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, tool handling skills, strong safety discipline, and the ability to work in a controlled environment with attention to documentation and data

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing documentation (work orders, drawings, travelers).
• Ability to follow written instructions in controlled/explosive environments.
• Attention to detail and safety procedures.
• Basic computer/data entry proficiency (Word, Excel, ERP).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process energetic components and rocket hardware per work instructions.
• Operate and maintain standard production and mixing equipment under supervision.
• Follow safety, environmental, and explosive handling protocols.
• Record production data, inspection results, and material traceability.
• Perform basic inspections using calipers, scales, and gauges for conformance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas including classified spaces.
• Support maintenance tasks and calibration checks on production equipment.
• Report safety incidents or nonconformities promptly.
