Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Energetics Operator II for the 3rd shift at our Penrose/Pueblo, CO sites. You will run multiple machines, perform changeovers, train Operator I staff, and maintain quality and safety records on site.

This role requires compliance with hazardous materials and ITAR-related safety standards. The position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is on‑site in Penrose/Pueblo, CO, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work 3rd shift (8:30 PM–7:00 AM MDT).
• Hazardous material handling and explosive safety knowledge required.
• Follow complex instructions, batch sheets and travelers accurately.
• Maintain quality control documentation and operate equipment safely.
• Eligible to obtain State and Federal explosives licenses (21+).

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more production lines or machines, meeting rate and quality targets.
• Perform in-process inspections using basic measuring tools and document results.
• Assist with setups and changeovers, including tooling and basic parameter adjustments.
• Train and mentor Operator I employees on safe operation and standard work.
• Maintain production, quality, and downtime records in logs or ERP/MES.
• Follow 5S, safety and housekeeping standards and participate in improvements.
• Cross-train to learn additional operations as needed.
