Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks an Energetics Technician I for 2nd shift to support energetic production, assembly and testing of energetic materials and propulsion components in Penrose/Pueblo, CO.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work 2nd shift (10:30am–9:00pm MDT).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing documentation (work orders, drawings, travelers).
• Ability to follow written instructions in controlled environments.
• Attention to safety procedures and disciplined adherence to protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, chemical processing, or energetics preferred.
• Must complete in‑house DoD explosives safety training within first month.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process energetic components and rocket hardware per work instructions/ travelers.
• Operate and maintain standard production and mixing equipment under supervision.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and explosive ordnance handling protocols.
• Record production data, inspection results, and material traceability per ISO 9001 and internal procedures.
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements with calipers, scales, gauges for conformance.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas in classified or controlled spaces.
• Support preventive maintenance tasks and calibration checks.
• Report safety incidents or nonconforming conditions to supervision promptly.
