Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is looking for a patient, energetic Swim Instructor to bring our curriculum to life in the water, teaching kids foundational water safety and swim skills while building genuine connections with families.

If you love working with kids, you will communicate naturally with parents and take ownership of each child’s progress across lessons, with opportunities to grow and develop in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable, upbeat attitude and energy for every shift.
• Desire to obtain Lifeguard certification and grow professionally.
• Experience as lifeguard, coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider.
• Comfortable in water; swimming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swim instruction using Goldfish curriculum with energy and focus on growth.
• Enforce pool safety rules to maintain a secure environment.
• Evaluate student progress and complete skill evaluations on time.
• Communicate with parents after lessons to share updates and celebrate wins.
• Assist with light cleaning and equipment storage as needed.
