Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Florida is seeking a patient, energetic Swim Instructor to bring our curriculum to life in the water. You will teach kids foundational water safety and swim skills, build genuine connections with students and their families, and take ownership of each child’s progress.

As part of our team, you’ll connect with parents to share updates and celebrate wins, using creative solutions to help each child progress.

Qualifications

Requires passion for working with children and maintaining a safe pool environment.
Ability to communicate with parents and guardians about progress and concerns.

Responsibilities

Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum with consistency, energy, and a focus on student growth.
Enforce safety rules and regulations on the pool deck daily to prevent accidents and maintain a secure environment.
Accurately evaluate student progress and complete skill evaluations on time.
Connect with parents and guardians after lessons to share student updates, celebrate wins, and address concerns with care.
Use creative problem-solving to help students work through challenges and keep progressing.
Maintain and properly store all pool equipment, including placing and removing lane lines.
Assist with light cleaning duties such as deck mopping, window washing, and trash removal as needed.
