Job summary

Ralliant in Hollister, CA is seeking a Chemical Operations Technician (PMA) to safely handle explosive powders and propellants, maintain documentation, assist with mixing and casting, and support material movement in a high-safety environment.

The role requires respirator use, forklift certification, cross-training across propellant manufacturing tasks, and strict adherence to all safety procedures. U.S. citizens only due to government contract requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Willingness to handle bulk quantities of explosive materials.
• Read and understand written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Weigh raw materials (inert, 1.1 and 1.3) into propellant mix or intermediate containers.
• Accurate logging of time worked to the appropriate Job Numbers and materials logs.
• Maintenance of accurate material movement documentation, logs and inventory records.
• Cleaning of facility, equipment, vehicles, tooling and containers as required.
