Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Chemical Operations Technician to safely manage explosive powders and propellants, document activities, and assist with manufacturing tasks. The role emphasizes safety, process adherence, and accurate recordkeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include logging, material movement, and supporting PMA operations, with cross-training across propellant activities and mandatory PPE compliance. U.S. citizenship is required for contract reasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing preferred.
• Ordnance/Energetics experience is a plus.
• U.S. citizen due to contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process explosive powders and propellants under supervision.
• Accurately log time worked to Job Numbers and maintain movement logs.
• Maintain material traceability labels and inventory records.
• Support mixing/casting operations and clean equipment and facilities.
• Cross-train in propellant and explosive manufacturing activities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Previous Ordnance/Energetics experience is a plus

U.S. citizens only due to government contract requirements

Respirator fit-test ability
