Job summary

Ralliant in Chandler, AZ seeks a chemical/process engineer to own and improve energetic material manufacturing processes. This hands-on role leads PSM activities, performs hazard analyses, and implements MOC/PSSR to ensure safe, reliable production in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, R&D, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and IPT to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency while building process capability and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering strongly preferred or related discipline with relevant experience.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience; highly regulated process-manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of organic/inorganic synthesis and chemical-process principles.
• Experience with PHA, MOC, PSSR, and PSM audits is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel; familiarity with Access/Visio/Project/analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead PSM activities for new and existing processes (PHA, MOC, PSSR, audits).
• Maintain and improve energetic material processes for safety, productivity, quality and reliability.
• Provide technical inputs for proposals and cross-functional teams.
• Support production with materials disposition, testing, and IPT collaboration.
• Develop toward independent technical ownership of process lines and equipment ownership.
• Create and maintain technical documentation: MIs, SOPs, process specs, reports.
