Job summary

PacSci EMC in Hollister, CA seeks a Chemical Operations Technician to safely handle explosive powders and propellants, maintain documentation, and support mixing, casting, and waste management. The role requires respirator use, forklift certification, and cross‑training across propellant manufacturing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous Ordnance/Energetics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process explosive powders and propellants under supervision.
• Maintain accurate material movement documentation and logs.
• Clean facility, equipment, and containers with water/solvents.
• Assist with mixing, casting, and curing operations.
• Complete travelers and process paperwork buy‑offs and logs.
• Perform 5S and safety-related tasks and participate in daily management meetings.
