Goldfish Swim School in Minnesota is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach kids foundational water safety and swim skills using our curriculum. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, keep the pool area safe, and build connections with families after sessions.

This part-time, non-exempt role emphasizes energetic engagement, clear parent communication, and growth toward Lifeguard certification while supporting a fun, safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum with consistency, energy, and a focus on student growth
• Enforce safety rules and regulations on the pool deck daily to prevent accidents and maintain a secure environment
• Accurately evaluate student progress and complete skill evaluations on time
• Connect with parents and guardians after lessons to share student updates, celebrate wins, and address concerns with care
• Use creative problem-solving to help students work through challenges and keep progressing
• Maintain and properly store all pool equipment, including placing and removing lane lines
• Assist with light cleaning duties such as deck mopping, window washing, and trash removal as needed
