Job summary

The Salvation Army in Grand Rapids is seeking qualified instructors to teach across Athletics, Recreation, Fine Arts, and Community Education. Design and deliver lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, and manage classes to foster safe, engaging learning experiences.

Instructors will work with the program manager to develop programs, ensure safety, and communicate effectively with participants of all ages and abilities. A professional demeanor and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

Experience teaching or instructing in the specified areas.
Certification or degree in a related field is required.
Must have up-to-date personal insurance prior to employment.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching group exercise programs.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction to students of all ages and ability levels.
