Job summary

The Salvation Army Grand Rapids Kroc Center is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor who will design and deliver engaging instruction across Athletics, Recreation, Fine Arts, and Community Education. You will prepare lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, and ensure safety while fostering spiritual, emotional, and physical growth in participants.

Responsibilities include developing programs, providing feedback, and maintaining effective communication with program managers.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or instructing in specified areas is required.
• Certification or a degree in a related field or level of expertise is required.
• Must have up-to-date personal insurance prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students of all ages in Athletics, Recreation, Fine Arts, and Community Education.
• Design lesson plans and instructional materials; present subject matter with proper techniques.
• Maintain safety and manage classroom environment and scheduling.
