Job summary

Mayo Civic Center is seeking a part-time Box Office team member to handle daily ticket sales, Will Call, and customer service during events. This role requires a reliable, friendly individual who can work evenings, nights and weekends in a busy venue.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the window, selling Will Call tickets via Ticketmaster, answering questions, and maintaining a professional appearance and workspace. Background checks and basic POS knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Background Check in compliance with company policy.
• Basic knowledge of computer and point of sale technology.
• Ticketmaster or venue box office experience preferred but not required.
• Outgoing, friendly and professional attitude for guest relations.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must follow directions and work independently when needed.
• Team player in a high volume, sometimes stressful environment.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends as shifts dictate.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close ticket window as required.
• Sell and distribute will call tickets for events using Ticketmaster software.
• Answer customers’ questions promptly, courteously, and accurately both over the phone and at the ticket window.
• Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance, and organized work space.
• Maintain an energetic, professional, and polite relationship with co-workers, clients, and the public.
• Perform related clerical work and other special assignments as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
