Job summary

The Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN is seeking a part-time Ticket Seller to manage single-ticket sales, Will Call, and guest services during events. You will ensure accurate financial transactions and provide friendly, informed customer assistance at the box office.

Strong cash handling skills and reliable teamwork are essential. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for box office or guest service experience; availability for nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Computer and cash handling experience preferred.
Box office or guest service background preferred.
Ability to pass credit and background screening.

Responsibilities

Process single ticket sales at the box office and assist with group sales.
Answer questions concerning admission fees, fares, schedules, reservations, coming attractions and ticket policies in person, over the telephone, and email.
Provide excellent customer service to all guests inside the Mayo Civic Center.
Balance all applicable transactions for the date of service and complete all necessary reports before departure.
Open cash and all monies, checks, vouchers, coupons, or credit cards received during daily sales.
Maintain a daily audit of all ticketed events.
