Job summary

Athens State University is seeking an Endpoint Systems Specialist to manage campus computing systems, software environments, and integrations. The role supports faculty, staff, and institutional operations and serves as Tier 2 technical support within CSS.

You'll own the software lifecycle across campus endpoints, keep systems imaged and updated, and work with MIS on integration standards, with accountability in the ticketing system for all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have associate degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Experience with computer networking systems and client-server architecture.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Experience with a Windows domain environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune and related solutions.
• Manage software updates and patches across campus endpoints per security standards.
• Maintain integrations between desktop/endpoint systems and university platforms.
• Track campus-wide software license inventory and compliance.
• Coordinate desktop and software deployments with hardware rollouts.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support for software, systems, and integrations.
