Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our Endpoint Engineering team in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on SCCM/MECM, Windows endpoint management, and enterprise device deployment, including ATM/TCR imaging and platform support.

The ideal candidate will have strong desktop engineering experience, advanced troubleshooting, and hands-on Windows enterprise expertise. This hybrid role offers a mix of on-site and remote work, with four days at Seneca One and one day remote weekly.

Qualifications

• Combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management and/or architecture.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), including: OSD, packaging and deployment, patch management, task sequences, device compliance/reporting.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SCCM/MECM including OS deployment, software distribution, patch management, and compliance reporting.
• Design and maintain Windows device images and deployment methodologies for enterprise endpoints and ATM/TCR platforms.
• Develop endpoint standards and deployment processes to ensure secure, reliable device experiences.
• Partner with ATM/TCR Engineering to build and support imaging solutions; assist with OS upgrades and hardware refresh.
• Perform root cause analysis, resolve enterprise endpoint issues, and collaborate with support teams.
